The UT204R Digital Clamp Meter is used to measure AC and DC voltages up to 600 V, AC and DC currents up to 600 A and frequencies from 10 Hz to 60 kHz for low voltage up to 600 V and 10 Hz to 10 MHz for small voltages. It has protection against voltages above 600V in all ranges and an audible and optical alarm. Four-digit multi-segment display measuring 37 x 25 mm with backlight and fast refresh rate (3 times/sec). The opening of the jaws allows the measurement of cables with a diameter of up to 28 mm. Non-contact electric field detection (NCV) allows detecting live conductors in two sensitivities -EFLo and -EFHi for low voltage distribution 110V / 50 / 60Hz and 230V / 50 / 60Hz. The probe tip cover provided on the test leads allows measurement in CAT III category LV distribution without the risk of arcing. Without end caps, test leads can only be measured on CAT II category low voltage distribution lines. With the included K-type thermocouple (nickel-chromium-nickel-silicon temperature sensor), it allows temperature measurement from -40°C to 1000°C. Power battery 2pcs 1.5V R03. The power consumption of the meter is approx. 1.8 mA. The circuit has an automatic energy saving function. Standby consumption is <11µA, which effectively extends battery life to approximately 400 hours.
