Shelly Plus Uni is a small form factor smart universal module that includes:
- two solid state relays, with potential-free outputs (dry contacts);
- a pulse counter;
- one analog input;
- two digital inputs;
- a 1-Wire protocol input (for sensors).
This module allows remote control of electrical devices via cell phone, tablet, PC or home automation system. It has many functionalities and characteristics that make it extremely versatile:
- It can operate autonomously on a local Wi-Fi network or can also be controlled through cloud-based home automation services.
- Device can be accessed, controlled and monitored remotely from any location where the user has an Internet connection, as long as the device is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the Internet.
- It has a built-in web interface that can be used to monitor and control the device, as well as adjust its settings.
- Includes Wi-Fi Range Extender & BLE Gateway features.
- This device can be used with the Shelly mobile app and/or the Shelly Cloud service, but it is not mandatory, it can be used independently. Furthermore, it can also be integrated into several other home automation platforms and protocols.
- Supports scripting, webhooks, MQTT, WebSocket, HTTPS, UDP, TLS and custom certificates.
- It has an extremely fast processor for immediate reaction (ESP32).
- It can be powered with an AC voltage of 8 to 24V or a DC voltage of 9 to 28V, or even a stabilized voltage of 5V DC (for example, a USB port
standard);
- It is possible to simultaneously connect up to five DS18B20 temperature sensors or a single DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor to this device;
- Allows you to measure voltage levels up to +30 VDC, through the ANALOG IN input (with reference to GND);
- It is compatible with most Arduino sensors! Use your digital or analog inputs to measure desired parameters and create complex automation scenes based on sensor data.
- The COUNT IN input allows you to count pulses and determine the frequency of a signal;
NOTE: The digital inputs (IN 1 and IN 2) and the pulse count input (COUNT IN) are activated by a voltage level lower than 1.5V (Active Low Level).
